Scrub a dub dub!

Who doesn't love a tub full of bubbles? Little Twig Bubblebath not only bubbles up fabulously it also has a yummy light fragrance. My fave is Tangerine Lemon Rosemary. Anything citrus always smells so crisp and clean and I particularly enjoy the added scent of rosemary because whenever I pass a rosemary bush I cannot resist running my fingers across the branches for the smell. When my children emerge from the tub I want to gobble them up in their fragrant clean goodness. A new shipment from Little Twig arrived at Buggy including bubble bath and super fun scrub mitts. Come pick some up or order online for the best way to get little ones clean after a busy day of summertime fun.

Flying Squirrels

I thought Flying Squirrels were probably like Jackalopes... you know, imaginary. Well they are not only real, you can find them right here in the great Pacific Northwest! I have been thinking a lot about Flying Squirrels because I am totally addicted to pizza. Flying Squirrel Pizza specifically because it is not only in my neighborhood but it is Delicious! If you have not tried it, Go Now. If you are already a regular why not get a fun Flying Squirrel tee for your little one to wear to your next pizza party.

Temporary Position

Buggy is hiring for a temporary position that will start mid-August and continue through the month of September. This position could possibly continue after September as less shifts and hours. The position would be for 7-21 hours per week, 1 - 4 shifts per week. Shop hours are Wednesday - Friday 11am - 6pm, Saturday & Sunday 10am - 4pm.

Customer Service & Shop Responsibilities

• Greet every customer

• Keep the shop inviting and clean at all times

• Run register; ringing up purchases, bagging and wrapping items with care when needed

• Contribute to Buggy’s goals for increasing sales and creating loyal customers

• Thank every customer

Other Responsibilities

• Stock the shop

• Steam and price clothing and gift items as needed

Qualifications

• Love babies & kids, have great communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude

• Have retail or client/customer service experience

• Be tech savvy enough to use a mac and a point of sale system with a credit card processor, etc.

• Knowledge of children's clothing and products are a must!

Compensation

• Starting wage between $10 & $12 per hour

• Store credit available

• Access to fabulous clothing and gifts!

Summer is time for holidays and outings and Buggy has some fabulous things at the shop for traveling summer fun. Books are the best to take along just about anywhere and a new shipment just arrived with some great titles.

I love:

"Pirates Log" for your little matey's "jaaarrnaling". It is silly and fun and has a pop-up light to boot!

"ZOOM" is a fabulous small board book about cars and trucks and things that go. Perfect for little hands and small enough to toss in a purse.

"Toot & Puddle"books are the best! I adore their wonderful comradery and charming adventures. The shop has a number of titles to choose from in both hard & soft cover.

Bibs on the go! Taking up practically no space these waterproof disposable bibs are perfect for traveling or storing in your car. They are also nice on the eyes while keeping baby clean and leave you with no laundry while you are away.

Goodie Bags are a wonderful way to get a few coordinating nearly-new outfits for the season. And, of course Klean Kanteen® for drinks and ReUsies™ for snacks!

Buggy will be having an amazing sidewalk sale Saturday, July 24th during the 34th & Union Street Fest. Goodie Bags will be available for $25 ($50+ value) and all other items will be 40% off! Come shop; enjoy good food, tasty treats, live music and more! The shop will be open 10am – 6pm and the festival runs 12 –6pm in the heart of Madrona.

ReUsies™ are a re-usable alternative to sandwich/snack bags, each one potentially eliminating hundreds of plastic bags. 100% cotton lined with leak-resistant nylon and are secured with Velcro® closures. I just love them! You can hand wash, put them in the top rack of your dishwasher or turn them inside out and toss them in with your laundry. Klean Kanteen® bottles have been a favorite of mine for a long time because they are stainless steel, toxin-free and can be washed in the top rack of your dishwasher. (Perfect, after a long day of grubby little hands holding them!)
